We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ophthalmologist to join our thriving practice in Northern California, communities of Fairfield and Vacaville. We are seeking a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist to join a close-knit team. Our well-established clinic currently includes 1 MD and 1 OD and are looking to expand to meet our growing patient demand.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in clinical research, and acute care, with a strong foundation in ophthalmology, physiology, and medical records management. This role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional patient care across diverse populations, while engaging in innovative clinical trials and research initiatives. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency with EMR systems and possess a thorough understanding of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and aseptic techniques. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose ocular conditions using advanced ophthalmic techniques.
- Manage patient care across various settings
- Perform or oversee diagnostic procedures such as assessing visual acuity and conducting slit-lamp examinations.
- Document detailed medical records accurately within EMR systems and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, including medication management and surgical referrals.
- Participate in clinical research studies and clinical trials related to ophthalmology, contributing to the advancement of eye care practices.
- Maintain sterile environments using aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infections.
- Monthly on-call schedule for 1 week.
