Ophthalmology Single Specialty Group job located in Georgia

Full time pay working essentially part time. 26 weeks of vacation time.

1 week on and 1 week off schedule envisioned. 4 days in clinic/1 OR day per week.

Compensation is expected to be $333,000 per year working 26 weeks per year.

Comprehensive Ophthalmologist (specialty interests are welcome) for a suburban office less than 40 minute drive from Atlanta and 20 minutes from Lawrenceville.

14 year old, established ophthalmology practice with optical and ASC in the same building.

This is the only ophthalmology practice in Barrow County.

No ER call.

Amicable mostly 65+ middle class patient population. Adult patients only; no children under 18 treated except as an emergency by a referring PCP.

Teaching opportunity available. We have medical students from a local medical school and interns from the local hospital residency program rotate through our office for 1 month rotations. Clinical faculty position available.

As a community service, our ASC partners with the Georgia Lions Club to provide cataract surgery at no cost to certain patients. New surgeon can participate in this program but is not required.

Office is fully equipped with 4 exam rooms and VF x 2, new Topcon Triton OCT/fundus camera/AF/FA combination unit, topography, corneal hysteresis, A and B scans. Yag, 532, and SLT lasers, Topcon Aladdin optical biometry.
