About the Role
In this mobile optometry position, you’ll provide essential eye care services directly onsite at senior living facilities throughout Chicagoland (3 weeks/month) and travel 1 week/month to Central or Southern Illinois (with covered expenses and stipend).
Key responsibilities include:

Comprehensive eye exams for aging adults

Refracting, diagnosing, and managing ocular disease

Collaborating with facility teams to ensure continuity of care

Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking Optometrists who are:
- Passionate about serving older adults and underserved populations
- Experienced in refracting, diagnosing, and managing ocular pathologies
- Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working independently
- Licensed (or eligible) to practice in Illinois
- Prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus, but not required.
