About the Role

In this mobile optometry position, you’ll provide essential eye care services directly onsite at senior living facilities throughout Chicagoland (3 weeks/month) and travel 1 week/month to Central or Southern Illinois (with covered expenses and stipend).

Key responsibilities include:

• Comprehensive eye exams for aging adults

• Refracting, diagnosing, and managing ocular disease

• Collaborating with facility teams to ensure continuity of care

• Maintaining a friendly, respectful, and professional presence in each setting

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking Optometrists who are:

• Passionate about serving older adults and underserved populations
• Experienced in refracting, diagnosing, and managing ocular pathologies
• Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working independently
• Licensed (or eligible) to practice in Illinois
• Prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus, but not required.
