Ophthalmologist Carlisle, PA
Potential Buy in opportunity
We are looking for an Ophthalmologist to join our practice full time in Carlisle, PA. Ideally, we are looking for Board certified ophthalmologist, with experience in macular degeneration treatment, but we would consider a general ophthalmologist who can do cataract surgery. An ophthalmologist who specializes in glaucoma or corneal disease is also a plus. We need an Ophthalmologist who has the professional skills and character to help take this growing practice into the future with potential investment opportunities and the ability to buy into the practice within 2 years.

We are a well-established, private practice with over 36 years of experience with treating our community, offering a healthy and stable work environment for our staff while providing our neighbors with the highest level of care. We have an amazing, reputable team consisting of 3 MDs and ODs, and have a reputation for providing personal, expert care especially in the areas of macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataract, and diabetic eye care. In addition to ophthalmology, the practice offers optometric services and has an optical shop. The team of 25 employees are highly committed to caring for the patients while creating a work environment that is supportive and enjoyable. As testament to our wonderful work environment, several employees have been with the practice for more than 15 years.
Duties:
- Ophthalmology consultations, along with 3 other ophthalmologists
- Provide elective ophthalmology services/procedures.
- Providing routine care like vision testing and prescribing glasses and contact lenses
- Performing corrective surgeries, such as repairing injuries and corneas and removing cataracts
Requirements:
- Board certified ophthalmologist
- Ophthalmologist licensed to practice in PA
Schedule:
- Full time
- M-Thurs 8-5 Fri 8-3
- no evenings or weekends unless you are covering call
Compensation (range):
- $300,00 -$500,000 (base pay with bonus) and commensurate with experience
