Otolaryngology Hospital Based job located in Florida
Job Description
This north Florida health system is seeking an experienced and board certified otolaryngologist for our growing program.
Qualified Candidates:
· Must be comfortable with traumatic ear nose and throat procedures; including but not limited to:
o repair to external ears
o assisting in complex facial trauma with ophthalmologists, neurosurgeons and / or plastic surgeons
o laryngotracheal injuries
· Adult only in the hospital setting
· Board eligibility or board certification required
· Preferred candidates will have relevant experience
· The incoming provider will focus mainly on trauma and emergent / acute ear, nose and throat procedures
o Hospital-based
o Managing inpatient consults
o Rounding on patients
o Manage follow-up clinic
· Share the month with another dedicated otolaryngologist in an on / off schedule
· The Hospital’s trauma program is the area’s only ACS verified Level 1 trauma center servicing 5 counties and over 1M residents. It is also a teaching hospital for the University of Central Florida and hosts the UCF residency consortium.
