Job Description
Founded in 2003 by Robert W Bastian, MD, Bastian Voice Institute is a private practice specializing in voice, swallowing, and airway disorders, along with sensory neuropathic cough and inability to burp.
The practice is regional/multi-state, and national. Noteworthy patient populations include spasmodic dysphonia (~100 treated per month), cricopharyngeal dysfunction, laryngeal papillomatosis, presbyphagia and antegrade cricopharyngeal dysfunction, vocal cord vibratory injury, and disorders of the singing voice.
Besides being patient-centric and a dedicated surgery center, the position allows for autonomy, research opportunities, and participation in academics.
Seeking both a trained, experienced Laryngologist, and a Resident interested in being in a fellowship training program, proctored by Dr. Bastian and the Bastian Institute.
Chicago is the largest city in Illinois and the third-largest in the United States, located on the southwestern shore of Lake Michigan. Known as the "Windy City," it is a hub for culture, architecture, business, and transportation. Chicago is famous for its striking skyline, deep-dish pizza, jazz and blues heritage, and diverse neighborhoods. The city has world-class museums, professional sports teams, and a strong economy driven by finance, technology, healthcare, and manufacturing. Its central location makes it a major transportation and aviation center, home to O'Hare International Airport, one of the busiest in the world.
