Job Description

(Login for Information)at (Login for Information), a leading academic health center, invites applications for two full-time (1.0 FTEs), non-tenure clinical track Assistant / Associate Professors - Pediatric ENT in the (Login for Information).

We are seeking academically motivated, full-time faculty members who have completed otolaryngology residency training and pediatric ENT fellowship.  They should now be board-certified / eligible.  The practice focus for these positions will be pediatric ENT.

The selected candidates will contribute to the department’s mission to educate health science professionals, discover and translate advances in the biomedical and social sciences, and model the best practices in clinical care and public health through research, teaching, clinical service, administrative activities, and other services.

Position Key Accountabilities:

The successful Assistant / Associate Professor candidates in Otorhinolaryngology will be committed to patient care, research, fellow, and medical student education, and clinical and collaborative research.

Individuals must demonstrate excellence in clinical medicine, teaching, and scholarly activities during their training and practice.

This is a unique opportunity for those interested in academic and community pediatric otolaryngology.  The positions will be based at a new integrated pediatric multi-specialty clinic and hospital in suburban Houston.  Approximately 20% of the effort will be at the (Login for Information) with resident education and research opportunities.  Fellowship training in ENT is required. 

Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:

The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License, be board certified, or board eligible.
