The Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team at The Spine & Pain Center. This role supports the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients experiencing acute and chronic pain conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills, a commitment to evidence-based care, and a passion for improving quality of life for patients through comprehensive pain management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including medical history, physical examination, and review of imaging/lab results.
  • Develop, implement, and manage patient treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Perform and document patient visits including initial evaluations, follow-ups, and post-procedural assessments.
  • Prescribe medications and pain management therapies in compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and follow-up care.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and specialists as needed.
  • Ensure timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Participate in clinical team meetings, quality assurance initiatives, and ongoing professional development.
  • Maintain compliance with clinic protocols, OSHA standards, HIPAA regulations, and continuing education/licensure requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted NP license in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Certification through American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB)
  • DEA license with prescriptive authority for controlled substances.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in pain management, orthopedics, or primary care.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and medical documentation.
