Position Overview
As a Pain Management Physician, you’ll play a pivotal role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with complex pain conditions. You’ll have the opportunity to use advanced interventional techniques, collaborate with a world-class interdisciplinary team, and continuously advance your expertise through ongoing education and research.
We’re looking for a physician who brings both clinical precision and human warmth, someone who can blend evidence-based medicine with compassionate care to help patients reclaim their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, diagnose underlying causes of chronic pain, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals.
- Perform a range of interventional pain procedures, including:
- Epidural Steroid Injections (ESI)
- Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
- Intra-Articular Injections
- Botulinum Toxin Treatments
- Kyphoplasty
- Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) Trials and Implants
- And other medically appropriate therapies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, behavioral health providers, and other specialists, to deliver holistic patient care.
- Educate patients on pain management strategies, lifestyle modifications, and behavioral health approaches that support long-term wellness.
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Stay current with emerging pain management innovations through continuous education and participation in research initiatives.
- Contribute to public health and community outreach programs focused on chronic pain and behavioral health awareness.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Pain Medicine, PM&R, or Anesthesiology (required).
- Proven experience performing interventional pain management procedures such as ESI, RFA, SCS, IA injections, and Kyphoplasty.
- Knowledge of behavioral health and its integration in chronic pain treatment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect empathetically with diverse patient populations.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, collaborate, and thrive in a team-oriented, patient-centered environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in hospital medicine, endocrinology, or emergency medicine.
- Background in health coaching or community-based public health initiatives.
- Research, publication, or leadership experience within the pain management field.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and innovative treatment modalities.
