A facility is seeking an anatomic/clinical pathologist for locum tenens coverage.
Downtown Athens, Georgia, offers all kinds of shopping and eating! You don't want to miss taking a walk around the beautiful UGA campus while you're in town!
The schedule is Monday through Friday, either 8:00 AM4:30 PM or 9:00 AM5:30 PM, with rotating call every two weeks. The locum will handle approximately 1015 cases per day and be responsible for grossing their own specimens. On-call duties include covering the blood bank, organ procurement (rare), frozen sections, and reviewing specimens that meet pathologist review criteria. Frozen sections are not cut by the locum. All preparation is done via liquid base prep.

Dates Needed:  July 1 - ongoing, 2 - 4 weeks per month
Call Ratio/Schedule:  rotating call every two weeks, weeknights and weekends
