The laboratory maintains modern equipment and dedicated pathology assistant support to facilitate efficient specimen processing and diagnostic workflow. The department processes a steady volume of surgical pathology and cytology cases requiring experienced pathologist interpretation.

This Massachusetts region offers diverse recreational activities throughout the year, from winter snowshoeing and snow tubing during colder months to helicopter tours and ghost tours. The area features attractions including major sports venues and historic walking trails, with spring bringing blooming cherry blossoms in April and colorful tulips in public gardens during May. The pathologist will provide comprehensive diagnostic pathology services within a hospital-based laboratory setting. Responsibilities include interpreting 150 surgical pathology cases and 15 non-gynecologic cytology specimens per week while maintaining diagnostic accuracy and timely turnaround. The position requires Monday through Friday coverage from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with rotating call responsibilities during weeknight and weekend periods. The clinician will work collaboratively with pathology assistants and laboratory staff to ensure efficient case processing and workflow management.
