The hospital operates a pathology department seeking locum tenens coverage for anatomic and clinical pathology services. The facility maintains modern diagnostic capabilities with dedicated laboratory staff to facilitate efficient case processing and workflow management. The department processes a steady volume of surgical pathology and cytology cases requiring experienced pathologist interpretation.

The anatomic and clinical pathologist will provide comprehensive diagnostic pathology services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call requirements. Daily responsibilities include interpreting 40-50 surgical cases and 5-10 cytology cases, encompassing general surgical pathology and biopsies, GYN and non-GYN cytology including FNA and body fluids. The position requires proficiency in grossing procedures and frozen section interpretation to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic services. Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology is mandatory for this locum tenens assignment with a 60-90 day credentialing timeline.
