Pathology Locums Job in Kentucky | Starting Summer 2025 for 6+ Months

Details/Requirements for Assignment #109336:
-- Board Certified or Eligible to sit for the boards within five years
-- Active Kentucky medical license or IMLC
-- Dates of coverage: Seeking up to full-time locums coverage
-- Considering candidates with a minimum of 1 week available per month
-- Daily caseload: 20-30 cases per day (80-120 slides on average)
-- Administration believes this will be a 6+ month assignment while they recruiter for a permanent pathologist
-- Cases to expect: benign hysterectomies, benign and malignant colons, and breast cancer resections (mostly lumpectomies),  GI/GYN/skin biopsies,  Cytology is mostly urines, & an occasional FNA. Frozens are mostly skin frozens.
-- No GYN Cytology, no autopsy, very rare path. 
-- Support staff: one tech who preps cytology & cuts slides for general SP. Also trained to do gross biopsies (GI/GYN/unoriented skins)
