Shift Details
-- Day shift with hours between 7:30a – 5:30p, depending on rotation
-- Weekend coverage required
-- Call ratio: 1:7

Requirements
-- Board Certified in Pathology
-- Minnesota license preferred but willing to consider licensing
-- Epic experience – Highly Preferred

Required Procedures / Skills
-- Surgical pathology
-- GI pathology
-- GU pathology
-- Neuropathology
-- Dermatopathology
-- Hematopathology (bone marrow and lymph nodes)
-- Interpretation of bone marrow aspirate and biopsy
-- Cytology
-- Hematology
-- Microbiology
-- Chemistry and serology
-- Blood bank
-- Rapid evaluation of adequacy for image-guided biopsies

Assignment Details
-- Practice setting: Hospital-based pathology lab
-- Average patients per day: 40
-- Approximate cases read per day: 80–100
-- Clinical lab responsibility includes blood bank call at night
-- EMR: Epic
-- Group size includes 6 physicians, 5 histotechnologists, 1 pathology assistant, and 1 cytotechnologist
-- Other pathologists present during coverage
-- Facility Trauma Level: 1
