Chief, Pediatric Pathology – Philadelphia, PA
Lead a Premier Pediatric Pathology Program | Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
(Login for Information) is seeking a Chief of Pediatric Pathology to oversee a high-volume department (2,400 cases/year) at a renowned Level I Pediatric Trauma Center in Philadelphia, PA. This leadership role offers the opportunity to guide a team of specialists in pathology, transfusion medicine, and microbiology while advancing research and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee pediatric pathology services & maintain CLIA license
Lead a multidisciplinary team & drive clinical excellence
Engage in clinical research & quality improvement initiatives
Provide call coverage every other weekend as part of leadership
Qualifications:
MD/DO with AP, CP, or AP/CP residency (ACGME-accredited)
Board-Certified in Pediatric Pathology
Active PA Medical License (or eligibility)
3 years of pediatric pathology experience
