Pathology Physician Locums Job in Texas | Starting September 2025 Ongoing

Jackson and Coker is partnered with a great client in Texas seeking locum tenens Surgical Pathology coverage. This is in a charming city known for its friendly atmosphere, beautiful parks, and a strong sense of community.

Dates of Coverage:
--September 15-19
--November 24-28 (November 27 off)
--December 22-26 (December 25 off)
--December 29-January 2 (January 1 off)

Job Requirements for Assignment:
* Texas medical license (or active IMLC) required
* Board Certification or Board Eligibility within five years
* Starts September 2025 and will be ongoing thru the end of the year at minimum
* Surgical Pathologist needed
* This lab supports a larger Texas metro area and will be looking at candidates with any availability
* PA Support available for grossing, Pathologists cut their own frozens
* MD Support up to 7 pathologists available
* 500+ bed facility
* Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
* 25-30 cases per day depending on the complexity
* EPIC EMR
* Upcoming retirement forcing the hospital to hire a locums pathologist
* Will be required to obtain hospital privileges at the main site and two sister hospitals to occasionally read their slides
* GI biopsies, GYN benign/malignant, head/neck, lung, colon, GU
* If you need additional information, we have direct access to the lab's manager
