Pathology Physician Locums Job in Texas | Starting July 27, 2026

Open Shifts (8am-5pm):
--July 27-31
--August 3-7
--August 24-28
--August 31-September 4
--September 7-11
--September 14-18
--September  21-25
--September 28 - October 2
--November 23, 24, 25, 27 (no coverage needed on Thanksgiving Day)
--December 21-24

Details/Requirements for Assignment # 114360:
* Texas medical license (or IMLC)
* Board Certification or Board Eligibility within five years
* Starts ASAP and will be ongoing
* Surgical Pathologist needed
* PA Support available for grossing
* Pathologists cut their own frozen sections
* MD Support up to 7 pathologists available
* 500+ bed facility
* Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
* 25-30 cases per day depending on the complexity
* EPIC EMR
* Upcoming retirement forcing the hospital to hire a locums pathologist
* Will be required to obtain hospital privileges at the main site and two sister hospitals to occasionally read their slides
* GI biopsies, GYN benign/malignant, head/neck, lung, colon, GU
* If you need additional information, we have direct access to the lab's manager
