Job Description

A well-established pediatric hematology/oncology program is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible pediatric hematologist/oncologist with expertise in stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy. This role offers a balanced combination of clinical care, academic involvement, and research opportunity within a growing transplant program.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence, scholarly engagement, and a strong commitment to education, with fellowship training or practice experience caring for pediatric patients undergoing stem cell transplantation and advanced cellular therapies. A faculty appointment is included, with responsibilities for teaching and mentoring medical students, pediatric residents, and hematology/oncology fellows.


FACT-accredited pediatric bone marrow and stem cell transplant program
Approximately 10-15 transplants annually, including autologous, allogeneic, haploidentical, and alternative-donor transplants
Dedicated multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, and pharmacy
On-site stem cell apheresis unit and bone marrow processing laboratory
Access to a cellular therapy research laboratory, with GMP facility in development

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Shared inpatient, outpatient, and call responsibilities
Opportunity to develop a clinical, translational, or laboratory-based research program
Participation in clinical trials and novel cellular therapies encouraged
Board certified in Pediatrics; board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
Additional training or experience in transplantation and cellular therapy preferred
Protected research time available
