Pediatrics Hospitalist Locums Job in Arizona | Clinic + Call | Beginning May 9 – Ongoing | Assignment #114548

Coverage Details
-- Fixed clinic schedule:
---- Monday–Thursday 8 AM – 12 PM, 1 PM – 5 PM
---- Friday clinic hours: 8 AM – 12 PM
-- Call coverage needed approximately 10 days per month
-- Rotating call schedule with local provider

Call Details
-- Beeper call
-- Call response time required: 30 minutes
-- Average call # per 24 hours: 2 patients and admissions
-- Phone consults and call-back volume: minimal

Requirements
-- Board Certified
-- Pediatric board certified – highly preferred
-- Licensed in Arizona or IMLC
-- PALS
-- NRP

Required Procedures
-- Ventilation management (newborn): acute
-- Intubation (ETT/INT): newborn
-- Circumcision
-- Inpatient
-- Nursery Level I
-- Attend C-sections/high risk
-- Non-invasive vent management (BiPAP/CPAP)

Assignment Details
-- Patients per shift: 8
-- Rounding: both inpatient and outpatient
-- Predominantly newborn care
-- Support staff and resources include front office staff, dedicated medical assistant, dedicated office manager, CLIA-waived testing in office, and higher-level lab and X-ray services at the hospital
-- Provider not required to supervise APPs
-- PEDs Level: 1
-- Facility trauma level: 3
-- Experienced providers requested
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30–60 days
-- EMR: Athena (clinic), Medhost (hospital)
