Pediatric Hospitalist Locums Job in Antioch, California

Location: Antioch & Walnut Creek
Job Type: Locum Tenens
Shift Length: 12-hr or 15-hr shifts, primarily overnight
Start Date: April (pending credentialing process)
Duration: Ongoing, with potential for long-term need

Overview:
We are currently seeking one to two qualified locum tenens physicians to assist with coverage in Antioch. The primary need is for physicians who can work overnight shifts, with a preference for those who are comfortable resuscitating newborns, attending high-risk deliveries, and managing a Level 2 NICU in Antioch.

Shift Details: 12-hr or 24-hr shifts (12-hr is the most common)
Number of Shifts: Approximately 4-8 shifts per month, with flexibility depending on internal staffing and provider availability
Ideal Candidate:
--Board-certified in Pediatrics, Neonatology, or a related field
--Comfortable working overnight shifts
--Experience with resuscitating newborns, attending high-risk deliveries, and managing a Level 2 NICU
--Flexibility and adaptability to varying shift lengths (4-24 hours)
--Credentialing Timeline:
--Expected Credentialing Time: 6-8 weeks
--Start dates can be anticipated for April based on credentialing process.
