Job Overview
Delta Locum Tenens (DLT), the locum tenens staffing division of (Login for Information), identifies physicians and advanced practitioners on behalf of healthcare facilities to provide short- and long-term coverage. - Start Date: March 24-26, May 27-28 and June 3-4
- Setting: Inpatient
- Patient Volume: Site does newborns and pediatric patients. Peds: avg 7pts per day, Newborn: avg 19 pts per day. But they also have at least 1 APC per day (busy days usually 2) and they usually have another physician come in and see normal newborns to help offload if the census is high.
- Job Details:
- Inpatient only
- 24-hour call 7a-7a
- Usually on-site from 7a-5p
- Required Procedures: They do not attend deliveries. OB does those. NICU would attend if there was concern. They do normal newborns only. If the kid gets really sick they can transfer to the NICU. Pretty much only lumbar punctures. They DO NOT DO circumcisions - those are done by OBs.
- Client Requirements: BC or truly BE (within 3 to 5 years of completing training), active TX license
- EMR: EPIC
- Delta Locum Tenens can assist with travel arrangements and credentialing, and will cover malpractice.
