-- Credentialing timeframe: 30 days
Shift Details
-- 24-hour call only, 7am-7am
-- Weekend coverage required
-- Up to 15 days per month spread over 2–3 weekends
Requirements
-- Board certified or board eligible
-- Texas license or IMLC
-- ABLS, BLS, PALS
Required Procedures / Skills
-- PICU care
-- Nursery Level I and Level II / NICU - Preferred
-- Attend C-sections and high-risk deliveries
-- Pediatric ventilation management - acute and chronic
-- Pediatric intubation - newborn and pediatrics
-- Central line placement
Assignment Details
-- Practice setting: Inpatient
-- Admissions required
-- Patients per shift: 4–8
-- EMR: MediTech / Athena
-- Trauma level: 3
-- Call type: Beeper
-- Call response time: 30 minutes
-- Phone consults: 2–6
-- Patients seen during call: 1–4
-- Admissions during call: 1–4
-- Drive-in candidates only
