Responsibilities
Do you feel strongly about women's health and want a full-filling career with a supportive team? We are seeking an experienced OB-GYN Hospitalist to join our practice at Salinas Valley Health Medical Center in Salinas, CA.
- Responsibilities include OB ED coverage, emergencies as well as OB triage, patient evaluation and management, surgical assists, and fetal monitoring
- Low volume of delivery attendance for community OBs
- 24-hour in-house coverage
- Private labor and delivery suites
- MFM specialists and pediatric subspecialty support
- Level III NICU is operated in partnership with Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford

Regular full-time is classified as team members who are consistently scheduled and work 30 hours or more on a weekly basis. Paid Sick Leave: Eligible full-time team members will receive a lump-sum grant of 40 hours or five days, whichever is more beneficial to the team member, of paid sick leave each year on January 1. A newly hired full-time team member will receive a prorated lump-sum grant after working for 90 days. A lumpsum grant will then be provided on January 1 in each subsequent year as long as the team member remains eligible.
