Neonatology Opportunity in the San Francisco Bay Area
Responsibilities
Seeking a BC/BE Neonatologist to join our well-established practice in San Jose, CA.
- Good Samaritan Hospital has a level III NICU with an average daily census of 15 and has 40 – 50 VLBW admits per year.
- In addition to our affiliated group of Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists, there is good pediatric subspecialty support including pediatric surgery.
- Services provided include high frequency ventilation, body cooling and iNO is available.
- There is an active maternal and neonatal transport program.
- The hospital is a Regional Perinatal Center and is certified by California Children's Services as a Level-III NICU and as a Neonatal Surgery Center.
- The practice belongs to the California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative and participates in Pediatrix QI programs as well as other projects in collaboration with academic institutions.

Regular full-time is classified as team members who are consistently scheduled and work 30 hours or more on a weekly basis. Paid Sick Leave: Eligible full-time team members will receive a lump-sum grant of 40 hours or five days, whichever is more beneficial to the team member, of paid sick leave each year on January 1. A newly hired full-time team member will receive a prorated lump-sum grant after working for 90 days. A lumpsum grant will then be provided on January 1 in each subsequent year as long as the team member remains eligible.
