Responsibilities

We are seeking an additional BC/BE Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist to join our practice in Long Beach, CA.

• Full-service hospital and office based practice.
• Services provided include deliveries, prenatal diagnostic procedures including ultrasounds, amniocentesis, CVS and fetal echocardiography.
• Office staff includes sonographers and genetic counselors.
• MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center.
• Affiliated group of Ob-Hospitalists and Neonatologists.
• Level IV NICU with full pediatric medical and surgical subspecialty support including a pediatric cardiovascular program.
• Ob-Gyn residents and Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellows from our affiliated program with with the University of California Irvine.

 About the AreaKnown as the “Waterfront Center of Southern California,” Long Beach is located about 25 miles south of downtown Los Angeles bordering the northern edge of Orange County. The area enjoys a lovely Mediterranean climate with an average of 333 sunny days per year. A newly hired full-time team member will receive a prorated lump-sum grant after working for 90 days. A lumpsum grant will then be provided on January 1 in each subsequent year as long as the team member remains eligible.
