Medical Director – Pediatric HospitalistLocation: Iredell Memorial Hospital, Statesville, North Carolina
Organization: Pediatrix Medical GroupPediatrix Medical Group is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Pediatric Hospitalist-Medical Director to lead our newly established practice at Iredell Memorial Hospital, a 247-bed comprehensive healthcare facility with approximately 600–800 births annually.Leadership OpportunityThis is a unique opportunity to shape and grow a pediatric hospitalist program from the ground up. As Medical Director, you will:

• Provide strategic and clinical oversight of the pediatric hospitalist practice
• Collaborate closely with hospital administration and regional leadership
• Mentor and support fellow physicians
• Represent the practice in hospital and community leadership roles

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage pediatric patients in the inpatient unit
• Provide coverage for the newborn nursery
• Consult with families and referring providers
• Participate in call coverage
• Offer consultative support in the Emergency Department
• Attend high-risk deliveries as needed
