Overview

  

Responsibilities

 

• Riverside Methodist Hospital has a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• The NICU is operated in partnership with Nationwide Children’s Hospital, bringing their neonatal expertise into Riverside Methodist
• The unit has 42 beds and serves as the referral hub for the OhioHealth system, caring for approximately 650 infants per year
• Care is provided by 16 board-certified/eligible neonatologists and a multidisciplinary team, available 24/7
• Services include:
  • Prenatal consultations
  • Delivery room attendance
  • Management of premature and critically ill newborns
  • Ongoing family-centered care and communication
  • Maternal-Fetal Medicine services are available for high-risk pregnancies, including advanced diagnostics like fetal echocardiography and blood transfusions

 

Qualifications

• Board Certified Peds residency-trained
• ACGME accredited Neo Fellowship
• Ability to be licensed in the state
