Responsibilities
We have an exciting opportunity for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our established practice at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City and Norman Regional Hospital. Come and notice the difference working with Pediatrix! About the Role
- Opportunity to Provide Coverage at 2 Level III NICUs:
- Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City, a 43-bed NICU with an ADC of 29
- Norman Regional Hospital, a 26-bed NICU with an ADC of 14.
- Responsibilities include assessing critically ill neonates, attending high-risk deliveries and seeing well-newborns in collaboration with a neonatologist.
- Robust Sub-specialty and MFM support
- Services include HFOV and jet ventilators
- 12-hour in-house shifts – averaging three shifts per week and every other weekend, allowing for an ideal work-life balance.
- Join a tenured staff of 6 neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners
- Close-knit team culture: Community oriented setting with a private practice feel, yet backed by robust hospital resources.
Qualifications
- Current APRN national specialty certification with specialized certification as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
- Minimum of a master’s degree
