Pediatrician Pismo Beach, CA

We are looking for a Pediatrician to join our Pediatric practice full time in Pismo Beach, CA. Our state-of-the-art office is growing, and we need to add another compassionate Pediatrician to our well-respected team. Our ideal candidate has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, leadership and teamworking abilities, and has a compassionate and caring approach to working with children and their families. Pismo Beach is on California's Central Coast, and it's known for its wineries and many beaches!

We make it our goal to know every patient and their health history, so we can provide the best pediatric care and have been providing the highest level of care for over 15 years. We work closely with parents and guardians to help them understand the latest findings in pediatric medicine. We explain how we intend to put our learnings into practice using cutting-edge technology to not only diagnose, but also treat our children’s condition. Our team provides a variety of services including ADHD, asthma, allergies, immunizations, and many other services. Children’s health is our priority, and when families partner with us, they can be rest assured knowing it’s theirs too.

Duties: 

• Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Collecting, recording, and maintaining patients' information and histories.
• Prescribing and administering treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care.
• Explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients and family members.
• Monitoring patients' conditions and progress.
• Directing, coordinating, consulting with, and referring patients to nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
• Advising patients, parents, and guardians on diets, activities, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Conducting research and remaining up to date on current trends, discoveries, and developments in the field.
• Diagnosing and treating illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries.

Qualifications:

• BC/BE in Pediatric Medicine
• MD/DO Licensed to practice in CA

Office hours and days candidate will work:

• Monday – Friday (9-5)

Salary (range):

• $110-$125/hr
