Seeking a BC/BE Pediatrician , successful candidate will be a California licensed, board-certified Pediatrician who has experience working with children of all ages and various medical conditions. The clinic is a Rural Health Clinic (RHC), and as such, they need a flexible, knowledgeable, and compassionate physician who is seasoned in the care and well-being of children in our community. The successful candidate will accept patient referrals, provide primary medical care, consult with specialists, respond to pediatric emergencies, work with community leaders to educate the community on issues related to children’s health and work collaboratively with the medical staff. The community is composed of a large agricultural base and industrial distribution centers with a large Spanish speaking population. Looking for someone oriented to serving the underserved. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a warm, caring atmosphere where the health of our children is top priority.

As part of the District, a Rural Health Clinic (RHC) and an ambulance service. The Clinic serves the communities of the District. Accept most insurances as well as provide services to the uninsured on a sliding fee scale. A primary care clinic which provides both Family Care and Pediatric Care. Dedicated support staff. Also have a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to assist patients.  Although rural,  located along Highway 5, a major freeway that runs up and down California's Central Valley.   Located about 30-45 minutes from 5 Hospitals and about 1.5 hours from the Bay Area. 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

·        MD or DO degree
·        2+ years’ experience in pediatric medicine
·        Licensed in the State of California
·        Board certified through the Board of Pediatrics (or in process)
·        BLS, PALS
·        Experience with EHR (electronic health records) required

 Competitive Compensation plus relocation,  Reimbursement for Medical license fee DEA license fee, hospital privileges, Patterson business license, professional membership, Stanislaus & CA Medical Society membership, CME expenses ($2,000/yr), retirement (3%), fixed rate for Health Insurance.
