Outpatient Pediatrics - near Orlando, Florida

Two Options:

#1 Hospital Employed Group
Multi-specialty group with approximately 30 providers: 7 primary care providers (FP/IM). There are no Pediatricians currently in the group.
Ideally would like to recruit two Pediatricians.
One office Location near hospital
Competitive financial package being offered
Call Schedule: to be arranged.
Can be traditional setting (inpatient/outpatient mix) with the option to refer all inpatients to hospitalist program if desired (100% outpatient [office based] setting).

#2 Solo with income guarantee (and overhead) support from hospital
Competitive guarantee based on MGMA guidelines.
Call Schedule: to be arranged.

Reason for search: There are limited access point for Pediatrics in the primary service area. There are 7 community Pediatricians on staff at the Hospital. They primarily admit children to the Pediatrics hospitalist service, staffed by the Children's Hospital. The community needs assessment recommended recruiting 3 new Pediatricians to the area over the next 3 years.

33 Pediatricians in Combined Service Areas (Primary and Secondary).
Level II Nursery
Neonatologist on Staff
Pediatricians DO NOT have to attend deliveries / c-sections.
