An FQHC is seeking a pediatrician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located 1 hr from Springfield, MA.
This FQHC opportunity is available from September 2025 through May 2026 and offers a flexible schedule of 3032 hours per week, typically spread across four days. Call is required during scheduled on-call nights from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM, approximately three times per month on weekdays and one weekend day out of every eight. The expected patient load is 1618 patients per day, with a pediatric population ranging from ages 0 to 21. Candidates must hold a Massachusetts license, DEA, and BLS certification. While the COVID-19 vaccine is not required, adherence to masking protocols is necessary. The credentialing process takes 46 weeks. Support includes a team of up to five other providers on-site depending on the day, along with CMAs (one per provider) and up to six nurses present at a time. Board certification is required, though truly board-eligible candidates with proof of upcoming exam dates may also be considered.
