An Outpatient Clinic is seeking a Pediatrician for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located right outside of Boston.

This pediatric practice needs an MD and offers a quick 1-2 day credentialing timeline, though billing cannot begin until fully credentialed. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m., plus Saturday mornings from 9 a.m.-noon. Call is required until 10 p.m. daily, though a triage service handles most calls, and any major issues are referred to Mass General or Childrens Hospital. The provider will see 12-15 patients per day, mostly physicals and sick visits, treating patients from newborns through age 21. Candidates must be BC/BE and vaccinated for COVID/flu. Support staff includes an MA, a nurse, and a secretary. Documentation is done on paper with scanning or via RXNT, and providers are expected to chart as they go. Lunch can be flexible, though call responsibilities still apply.
