Pediatrics Hospital Based job located in North Carolina

Facility seeking BC locum Pediatrician to start in November for 6 months
- Schedule Details: Monday – Friday 8a-5p with ½ day admin - Full time – no weekends or call
Closed day after thanksgiving, open day after xmas, new years day closed.
- Have ability to see pediatric patients independently.  
- Coverage Type: outpatient
- EMR: EPIC
- Avg. Daily Census: 18-20
- Patient Age Group: birth – 21 years
- Procedures: Urinary Cath’s, POC tests, and immunizations (only as back up)
- Confidently manage patient care, with a strong background in the field and a desire to avoid unnecessary ED referrals.
- The ideal candidate should be comfortable ordering caths in the office and open to respectful interruptions for questions from parents. Additionally, they should be proactive in handling complex phone calls directly, rather than leaving them to the CMA.
- Required: NC License, BLS, DEA, Flu shot
