A 25-bed, faith-based acute care hospital that has served the community for over a century, providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services is seeking a pediatrician for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in the pacific Northwest of Oregon.

This position offers one local provider the first choice of scheduling each week, with three weeks to fill the remaining shifts. There is no office call, no NICU coverage, and no backup support, so the provider must be comfortable practicing independently. The role requires documented experience as an attending physician for at least 24 inpatients in the last 24 months. Core pediatric privileges include caring for patients from birth to 18 years, handling admissions, consultations, venipuncture, laceration repair, incision and drainage of superficial abscesses, and managing major illnesses. Newborn privileges include providing care for all newborns, including those with potentially life-threatening conditions, with consultation recommended for extremely complex cases.
