Excellent opportunity for a full-time BC Pediatrician to join our Pediatric Department. This is a traditional outpatient practice with call duties that include Basic Pediatrics and Level 1 Newborn Nursery coverage.
A full-time, 4-day work week allows you to balance your personal and professional lives to create a lifestyle few in our profession are able to enjoy.
We are a physician-owned, financially strong and thriving, multi-specialty group of 13 Physicians, 3 Physician Assistants and 3 Nurse Practitioners. Our 11-Partner Group is one of the largest in Southern Oregon and consists of Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, and Podiatry. Our patients also benefit from in-house Laboratory, Physical Therapy, and Radiology services.
A competitive salary, with benefits, is guaranteed your first year with a production-based incentive bonus. You are eligible for partnership after one year. This position is in a medically underserved area, allowing our physicians a $4,000 state income tax credit.
We are conveniently located across the street from Three Rivers Medical Center, which provides all hospital services in Grants Pass. This modern facility includes a 24-hour, full-service emergency room, 125 beds, a family birthing center with 600+ births annually, and an adjacent cancer center.
Our physicians continue to be instrumental in evolving health care at the local, regional, and national level. Grants Pass Clinic has been a Patient Centered Primary Care Medical Home (PCPCH) certified clinic since 2011 and has recently achieved the State’s highest 5-STAR designation. In May 2016, we were the national recipient of the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services Comprehensive Primary Care Champion Award for the State of Oregon.
We are actively engaged in the integration of cost-effective comprehensive medical, mental, and dental health services for patients in our rural area through innovative efforts culminating in the creation of a local community care organization (CCO) to achieve these aims. These are exciting times to be a primary care provider in Southern Oregon! We would love to discuss these endeavors with applicants who resonate with what we are co-creating in our region.
Grants Pass is located on the wild and scenic Rogue River. The area is renowned for its whitewater rafting and fly fishing. A wide variety of recreational and cultural opportunities exist for the entire family. Southern Oregon's best-known features include the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, the Britt Music Festival in Jacksonville, and Oregon Caves National Monument. We are one hour north of the California border, and within two hours of Redwood National Park, Crater Lake National Park, and the Oregon coast. Our four-season climate most closely resembles that of the temperate Napa Valley. It affords a long growing season and ample opportunity for golfing, tennis, hiking, and camping. We also have a vibrant city recreation program and many beautiful local parks to enjoy.
