Pediatrician Nashville, TN

We are looking for a Board-Certified Pediatrician to join our pediatric practice full time in Nashville, TN. Our state of the art, growing practice is conveniently located approximately 20 min east of the hustle and bustle of downtown Nashville. Close to the nightlife, entertainment, restaurants, and shopping in the city but with plenty of opportunities, locations, and lower cost of living makes the town of Lebanon a great suburban option.

We are looking for a compassionate Pediatrician to join our knowledgeable and well-respected team of Pediatricians, Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, and support staff. Ideally, the physician will be comfortable in working both the clinical side, as well as developing into a leadership role with the practice with possible interest in eventually becoming an owner or a partner. They should have strong team building skills and be willing to step in and help wherever needed in the practice. They should possess excellent clinical skills and be comfortable with a range of office procedures (wart removal, laceration repair, I&D, etc.). The incoming physician will need to be willing to actively participate in marketing themself to the local area, to get the practice and surrounding area familiar with a new provider. With a significant number of Latin patients, an ability to speak Spanish is also a plus. No Hospital or ED call as this is mostly an office-based practice, but we do make nursery rounds at the local hospital.

Duties:

• Pediatric Patient Care Management
• Well Check/ Patient exams and evaluations
• Acute Care/sick visits
• Newborn visits
• Adolescent Care visits
• Medication refills
• Procedures (wart removal, laceration repair, I&D, etc.)
• Referrals when necessary
• Order and review labs/bloodwork/diagnostic imaging
• Management of chronic illnesses
• Telephone triage
• Immunizations
• Supervision of the 6 nurse practitioners
• Documentation/paperwork/forms
• Nursery Rounds at the Hospital
• Pediatric Walk-in/urgent Care Clinic coverage (coverage every 6-8 weeks)
• Night call coverage (occasionally)

Requirements:

• Board Certified Pediatrician (MD or DO)
• Pediatric License in TN
• Experience preferred but not required
• Spanish speaking a plus

Schedule:

• Office/Clinical hours 4 days per week
• Rotation to cover weekend clinic every 6-8 weeks
• Rotation into night call to assist in self marketing/introducing themselves to parents

Salary (range):

• $150k-$200k per year (depending on experience)
