Pediatric Hospitalist Physician Locums Job | Starting June 16, 2025 | Assignment #109362

Schedule:
--Start Date: June 16, 2025
--End Date: Ongoing
--Coverage: 24-hour beeper call, 7am–7am
--Shifts Needed: Up to 15 days per month
--Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Yes (includes major holidays)

Details/Requirements:
--Board eligible or board certified in Pediatrics
--Active Virginia license or IMLC
--Certifications: PALS, NRP
--Must be comfortable with all hospital call, including C-section coverage, newborn and pediatric admissions, and consults in the ED
--Emergency temporary privileges available for clean files
--Setting: Inpatient, call only (no outpatient)
--Beds in Department: 6
--Rounding: Both newborn and pediatric patients
--Admissions: Yes, admit to pediatric unit
--Procedures:
--UVC/UAC
--Support Staff: 2 RNs per shift
--Supervision: No supervision of APPs or residents required
--EMR: Athena & Meditech
--Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days (emergency temp privileges available for urgent needs)
