The FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE and team dynamic will allow you the autonomy to work directly with our physicians in order to achieve the highest functional level for our patients. The ideal candidate will have a desire to work on lower extremity conditions from the lumbar spine down to the foot and ankle.
The Physical Therapist / PT is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. The Physical Therapist / PT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined by the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician. The Physical Therapist / PT will set realistic and achievable goals for their patients, document and record the patient's condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.
Desired:
- Looking for an individual complete lower extremity biomechanics from spine and below, specialty post op care involving rearfoot and forefoot specialization and lower-leg soft tissue work, balance, and neuromuscular specialization
Requirements include:
- · Must have graduated from an accredited school
- · Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT
- · Current CPR certification
- · Ability to develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient
- · Ability to provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders
- · Ability to assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions. Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
