Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician to join our team. This role focuses on evaluating injury-related pain conditions, performing office based ultrasound-guided procedures, and generating clear documentation to support patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose acute and chronic pain
- Develop and manage comprehensive, multimodal treatment plans
- Evaluate and recommend interventional procedures, including but not limited to:
- Epidural steroid injections
- Facet joint injections and medial branch blocks
- Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
- Joint injections (shoulder, knee, etc.)
- Review and interpret imaging (MRI, CT, X-ray)
- Maintain detailed, accurate medical records
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, chiropractors, and physical therapists
- Open to provide deposition or expert testimony
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Active and unrestricted CA medical license
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience in personal injury, workers’ compensation, or medico-legal evaluations preferred but not required
Compensation
- $2000 for 4 hours, $2500 for up to 6 hours and $3000 for a full 8 hour shift
