Physical Medicine/Rehabilitation Surgical Center/Clinic job located in Florida

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Medical Director for our Physical therapy clinic in West Palm Beach, Florida. This is a Part-Time position, once per month, with a flexible schedule, responsible for reviewing medical charts, providing medical oversight and ensuring compliance with Florida regulations. Applicants must have an active Florida Medical License and experience in rehabilitation or general medicine is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight across all medical services, ensuring adherence to NCQA standards and healthcare management best practices.
• Supervise medical staff, including physicians and healthcare providers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and patient-centered care.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, FDA guidelines, and other relevant healthcare laws governing patient privacy and safety.
• Reviewing and approving medical records
• Supporting audits or inspections as needed.

Skills

• Active Florida Medical License
• Experience in rehabilitation or general medicine preferred
• Strong attention to detail and compliance knowledge
• Good communication and leadership skills
