Physical Medicine/Rehabilitation Hospital Based job located in Indiana

Facility seeking an Inpatient Physical Medicine and Rehab Medical Director
--Attend Team Conferences Covering
    - Regulatory clinical team to ensure compliance and pharmaceutical aspects regarding medications, patient safety, and quality of care. 
    - Medical executive committee collaboration.  
    - Review of KPI’s & Discharges
--The Physician will have a clinical focus on general physical medicine and rehabilitation
--Assessment and management of patients with long term functional limitations; development of a plan of care in consultation with other specialists 
--The ideal candidate must be proficient managing medically complex patients and comfortable taking care of a variety of rehab-related diagnoses on the unit.
--Perform medical procedures, such as disc decompression, prolotherapy, and vertebroplasty to treat pain and improve physical functioning 
--Lead a team of medical professionals, which may include physical therapists as well as occupational therapists, with the goal of optimizing patient care 
--Monitor ongoing progress and health of patients and adjust treatment plans accordingly 
--Provide tools and guidance that allow that patient to adapt and improve overall health physical functioning 
--Counsel patients as well as their families
--Additional procedural opportunities may be available to include botulinum toxin injections, baclofen pump management and EMG’s. 
--Competitive Base Salary
--450,000 - $700,000 Potential Depending on Site
