Job Description
- Monday – Friday, full-time (40 hours/week)
- Long-Term Contract 1 year to 5 years
- No On-Call Requirements
This role is part of a specialized interdisciplinary care model focused on Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), neurological conditions, and behavioral health, delivering integrated, patient-centered care to active-duty service members.
Clinical Duties
- Provide comprehensive PM&R services for patients with TBI and associated neurological and behavioral health conditions
- Perform patient evaluations, diagnosis, and development of individualized treatment plans
- Deliver rehabilitative care focused on improving functional outcomes and readiness
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, including neurology, behavioral health, audiology, and case management
- Support care coordination and long-term treatment planning with referring providers
Interdisciplinary & Program Support
- Participate in integrated care model combining rehabilitation, neurological care, and behavioral health
- Contribute to patient-centered treatment planning and outcomes tracking
- Work closely with ISC leadership and clinical teams to enhance patient care delivery
Administrative & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in MHS Genesis
- Complete patient notes within 3 business days
- Respond to patient communications within 1 business day
- Comply with DHA, MTF, and Joint Commission standards

Qualifications
Required
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited PM&R residency program
- Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain military credentialing, privileging, and security clearance (Tier III)
- U.S. citizenship required

- Experience treating TBI, concussion, or neurological rehabilitation patients
- Experience in military, VA, or federal healthcare settings
- Familiarity with interdisciplinary rehabilitation programs

- Personal services contract working within a military treatment facility
- Direct supervision comparable to federal/military staff
