A large hospital is seeking a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Coastal Virginia.
This inpatient PM&R opportunity offers coverage from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, focusing on hospital-based care. Providers can expect to manage up to 6 patients daily, with 12 new admissions per day. Call is overnight from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM on weekdays, though calls are rare, as urgent issues are escalated to the Hospitalist Nocturnist. Candidates must be board-certified in PM&R and possess the necessary skills for that specialty. Preferred but not required procedures include trigger point injections and knee/shoulder injections.
