Neuro Trauma Critical Care Physician Assistant Locums Job in California | Day Shift - 7am-5pm | November 11-14 and Ongoing Coverage in 2026

Coverage Needed:
-- 11/10-11/14
-- Ongoing coverage in 2026

Shift Description:
-- 10-hour day shift (7am-5pm)
--Summary: Neurosurgery/Trauma ICU management of emergency surgery patients that are brain, neck, and spine surgeries. NP/PA with neuro-trauma and/or neuro-critical care background

Requirements:
-- Board Certified
-- Must be licensed in California
-- ACLS and DEA certifications
-- ATLS preferred
-- Procedures:
-- Low Risk - laceration repair, IV access/IV insertion-peripheral line, fracture and dislocation reductions (minimal/moderate displacement)
-- High Risk - G-tube placement, endotracheal intubation, cardioversion/defibrillation, LMA, paracentesis, chest tubes, central and arterial line placement

Assignment Details:
-- Level II Trauma center
-- EMR: Cerner Care B
-- Average ICU patients per provider per day: 15-20
-- Credentialing timeframe: 30-60 days
