Cardiothoracic Surgery NP/PA Locums Job | Eastern Florida Coast | Inpatient Coverage Starting Late June (EVH Needed)

Jackson and Coker's valued client on the eastern Florida coast needs CT Surgery APP (NP or PA) coverage starting ASAP (realistic start date in mid to late June) and ongoing. They are open to reviewing your availability each month, although their hope is to get as many days of coverage as possible.

Coverage Need: 
- Seeking weekday shifts (8-10 hours of inpatient work) + night call through 7AM the next day
- Seeking weekend 24hr call coverage shifts

Firm Privileging Requirements: 
- Must be able to provide two leadership references and one peer reference from the last 24 months (CMO, Chief of Staff, Medical Staff president, Surgery/ENT Dept. Chair, Cred. committee chair, etc.)
- Must be able to provide up to date case logs 
- BLS & ACLS required
- Seeking candidates with a clean background/no criminal history 

Details/Requirements for Assignment #107642:
-- Active Florida license + current DEA required
-- Seeking currently Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeons 
-- Ideally seeking candidates with a minimum of 2 years of CT Surgery experience 
-- Will work along a current team of: 3 surgeons, 4 PAs, 1 RNFA, and 1 APRN - working within a busy and growing program
-- Duties will include: scheduled OR time, a minimum of 8-10 hours of inpatient work during the week, followed by call until 7AM the next day (call is split on the floor during the week)
-- Weekend call also needed (weekend call providers will be responsible for the floor & the OR in tandem)
-- Will be required to complete rounding, pre-, post op coverage, and first assisting responsibilities
-- Facility is a designated level 2 trauma center - has full trauma support staff
-- Patient volume will vary but between 15-20 patients per day on the floor (seeing consults, follow ups, etc.) + 3-5 emergent cases/week 
-- Facility detail: 490+ bed facility, designated level II trauma center, Athena EMR (will be transitioning to Epic EMR soon)
