Vascular Surgery Advanced Provider Locums Job | Full-Time Clinic, Procedure & Rounding Position in Central Florida

Jackson and Coker is working with a Central Florida client who needs an additional Vascular Surgery NP or PA to cover a week on, week off schedule starting in January. This opportunity will include 8-10 hour shifts working within the clinic, hospital & doing OR block time Monday - Friday, and will require a minimum of 1 weekend/month of 24-hour call coverage. There will be some evening night call needs as well. Are you interested & available to cover ~12 shifts/month? 

Coverage need: 
* Seeking a Vascular Surgery OR experience NP or PA to help with coverage every other week (2 weeks/month) starting January 
* 8-10 hour shifts working in the clinic, OR and/or doing inpatient rounding 

Details for Assignment #111860:
- Seeking one Vascular Surgery experienced Advanced Providers (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to fill a full-time schedule (working alongside of 1 other locums filling the opposite 2 weeks/month)
- Will need 2 weeks of coverage (Monday - Friday) + 1 weekend of call per month (~12 shifts/month)
- Will need to work between 2-3 days in the clinic, assisting with weekday inpatient rounding & in the OR as first assist) 
- Must have a Florida license 
- Being Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is helpful but not required 
- Will work alongside of 2 Vascular Surgeons & will act as the primary PA-C (losing the current one)
- Must be comfortable conducting clinic days independently as needed 
- Clinic volume when coupled with a Surgeon: 20-25 PPD split, when solo: 12-15 PPD
- Will round alongside of Surgeon in the hospital, average of 15-22 PPD
- Inpatient emergent procedures: 2-3 per day at most 
- Must be comfortable with: Carotid endarterectomy,  aneurysm repair, Varicose vein procedures, etc.
- Facility detail: 250+ beds, not a designated trauma center, Epic EMR
