Located in the western pacific, a short flight from Guam and 3 hours from Japan, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) is a popular tourist destination rich in history, culture and natural resources., just 5 miles wide by 12 miles long, is the largest and most populated of the
 14 islands making up an archipelago that stretches 400 miles (north to south) along the edge of the Marianas Trench.
 50,000 population. 75 Bed Hospital. ER, FP or IM with ER Experience. ACLS, ATLS and PALS required. 12 hr sifts. Typically 40 - 50 patients/ 24 hr. There is PA coverage 16 hrs 7 days a week. OB,IM,PED,GS,Neph,Psy, services on call. Only occasional trauma as top speed on island is 40 mph.After 4:30, ER is the only show on Saipan. So there are many walk ins. High Peds population little Geriatric.  As a commonwealth Saipan pays negligible fed taxes. Max 9.5% for our combined local and federal tax so makes take home pay much higher. J1 H1 visa also available.

When you establish residency here, there is a significant tax break on competitive pay. •    Saipan is a National Health Service Corps site with the possibility of $50,000 loan repayment over 2 years in addition to your salary (subject to application, federal funding, and ability to meet scheduling/service requirements).
