Emergency Medicine APP Locums Job in Michigan | Full Time Coverage | Beginning in August | Assignment # 110469

Coverage Needed: Full Time Coverage Needed 8/2/2025 - 1/31/2026 

Schedule: 11am - 9pm daily, 10-hour midlevel shift 

Requirements:   
--Board Certified NP/PA  
--Provider must be local - Required (include address at time of presentation) 
--Must have clean background for quick credentialing -Required 
--Provide availability based of dates listed  
--DEA - Verbal Confirmation Required at Name Clear  
--MI License - Required at time of clear, no exceptions - not accepting IMLC 
--ACLS/PALS  

Assignment Details: 
--Looking for APP with extensive ED experience 
--Will see patients by themselves, but physician is always present for consultation. 
--Support Staff: 1 full-time NP, 2 PRN PAs (can sometimes take shifts) 
--Average patient volume per day: 20 
--Number of beds: 25 
--Fast Track in ED: No 
--Current EHR in use: Cerner 
--8% total hospital admissions received from ED; 8% of ED patients admitted to hospital per day; 2% ED patients transferred per day (40min-1hour away) 
--Trauma level: 4 
--Annual ER volume: 20,000 
--Hospitalist or ED physician write admission orders 
--ED staff responds to house codes 
--Deliveries and patients over 20 weeks with abdominal complaints are received by ED  
--ED is responsible for monitoring/supervising paramedics/ambulance by radio 
--24-hour availability for Radiology (CT, MRI, X-ray), Laboratory, and OR 
--Blood bank certified by AABB 
--Pathology: yes 
--Consultants: ortho, OB, Gen, Surg, Neuro, Urology 
--Who does EKG Interpretations: Cardiologists, ED Doctor for in-department EKGs 
--Credentialing: 90 days
