Neurosurgery APP Locums Job in Michigan | ASAP Start | Bread and Butter Cases

One of our partnering hospitals in Michigan is seeking PA or NP coverage to support their inpatient Neurosurgery department. The Locums APP will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team that emphasizes patient-centered care, using advanced diagnostics, minimally invasive surgical techniques, and therapeutic technologies to improve neurological outcomes.

Schedule and Practice Details:
--Start: ASAP, as soon as credentialed 
--Reason for coverage: departing APP
--One FTE open- will accept multiple providers 
--Hospital only coverage, Monday-Friday
--Shifts: 8 hours, typically 8am-5pm 
--No call or weekends
--PPD: 25-30 shared between 2 APPs, Neurosurgeons can support patient volume as needed
--Scope of work: Inpatient rounding, trauma consults, OR experience is a plus but not required
 
Facility Details:
--Support staff/team: Locums APP works with another PA 3 days per week and works under team of 3 FT + 1 PT Neurosurgeons
--Level 2 Trauma Level
--Beds: 277 licensed, 464 staffed 
--EMR: Cerner
 
Locums Requirements:
--Michigan license required  
--Experience in IP Neurosurgery unit
